This research aims to develop a dashboard-enabled tool for logistics economic cost comparison at a regional level. A tool which would help compare Total Logistics Costs (TLC) of different supply chains and would enable a manufacturer, freight forwarder, or planners to optimize supply chain and choose the most optimum mode and route. Route optimization is often based on cost competitiveness (generally calculated in terms of Total Logistics Cost). The target workable model would include economic factors like cost of pollution, cost of accidents, cost of delays and boarding penalties along with time and cost.
