The DRP aims to investigate parking practices in TOD areas and assess the effectiveness of Park & Ride at Chennai transit stations for transit use. The study analyzes the utilization patterns of the Park & Ride facility and proposes a strategic option for non-transit users through on and off-street parking in Chennai. The portfolio recommends implementing a dynamic pricing mechanism for parking, efficient parking management strategies, and promoting alternative modes of transportation to enhance the overall transportation experience. The findings suggest that cities must consider their parking solutions carefully, and implementation should be proportional to the magnitude of the parking problem in each city.
