Safety Allure

Set in the Old City of Ahmedabad, the project aims at improving the overall safety index of the street fabric by intervening with its road network and built mass. Computational methods are used for the identification and removal of existing built in order to optimally increase connections between narrow isolated dead-ends and programs are placed on these newly formed open spaces as urban attractors to increase activities.
