The appraisal for Aji Riverfront Development is important for the better quality of life for the citizens of Rajkot. Our history says that the people used to settle near the water bodies which is not the case in Rajkot people have turned away from the Aji River. There is a DRP proposed for the Aji Riverfront Development which has all the aspects covered but this project is particularly focusing on the social, environmental and technical aspects to improve the quality of the life of the people and also to mitigate the urban waterlogging and flooding issues in the Rajkot city.
