This portfolio represents the work undertaken for preparing a Feasibility Study for the Adoption of Electric Mobility and a Roadmap for Implementation of E-rickshaws in the city of Bhopal. The process involved understanding the ecosystem and studying regulations related to the mode, market analysis of different models of E-rickshaw, literature study of different business models, and case study of the implementation of E-rickshaws in Indian cities. This was followed by understanding the Life Cycle Cost for an E-rickshaw and calculating and comparing the Total Cost of Ownership (per km) for different Internal Combustible Engine (ICE) Autos and E-rickshaws to understand the feasibility of every mode. This was followed by Stated Preference Surveys and Discrete Choice Model analysis to understand the perception of auto drivers and commuters in Bhopal and estimate shift towards a proposed integrated PT system with E-rickshaws as feeder service and carry out Financial and Economic Analysis of the proposed model.
