Averting Domestication : Re-Imagining Leisure for Women

Through various excercises and research, the domestication of women in India and how they spend their leisure time as compared to an Ungendered body is studied. Using this research as a reference and the site analysis done throughout the semester, design a public space to give a private space for leisure and infrastructure facilities, for the women of the socially and economically backwards slum area in Sector 25 of Chandigarh.
