Element of Urban Design

The semester is divided into two parts, with the first part emphasizing the perception and representation of the key elements that make up a functional urban space. The second part of the course focuses on the design of public places, including a detailed examination of the elements that make up these spaces. By the end of the course, students will have gained a comprehensive understanding of the scale, form, and character of key urban design elements and their relationship with the larger urban context. Additionally, they will have acquired the skills necessary to design and detail various elements of public spaces.
