Redesigning a 750m stretch of 132ft Ring Road, Ahmedabad

The design exercise focuses on reimagining existing scenarios in the city with a fresh perspective on the opportunities in the public domain. The selected Urban space transformation is informed by the thorough analysis of the ward (physical features and infrastructure) and soft (human interactions & relationships and policy and planning framework) aspects of the precinct (selected ward). The analysis must include the value of the chosen urban space within the immediate network. The conclusion must have key details that will help implement the design. The design should have strategies for material usage, outdoor furniture, lighting, landscape, and infrastructure and provide multiple uses throughout the day, seasons, or on special occasions.
