The Development Plan Studio course aims to provide insights into the process of creating a development plan for Ahmedabad by 2041. The course utilizes various methods such as stakeholder interviews, spatial mapping, and literature studies to thoroughly study the city. Ahmedabad currently has liberal zones for development, a Ring Radial Road network, and the iconic BRTS for public transportation. However, the city records low per capita open spaces, which has led to the focus of the development plan on creating a sustainable city with compact development zones, a robust road network with public transportation integrated with blur greennetwork.
