"The City Commons" is a compilation of urban projects that celebrate the significance of public spaces for the collective well-being of common folks. With an unwavering focus on the common people, this portfolio showcases a diverse range of urban design projects in various scales, types, and locations. This portfolio has three parts: 1. The Impact of Political Polarization in Urban Spaces; 2. Study and Representation of Urban Block: Shri Kashi Vishwanatha Temple; and 3: Redesigning the institutional area of Paldi into a Public Space. Each project embodies a commitment to identifying, upholding, or creating inclusive and vibrant environments that foster community engagement and social cohesion. From revitalizing neglected urban spaces to re-imagining iconic landmarks, "The City Commons" portfolio demonstrates the transformative power of urban design and highlights the fundamental role that public spaces play in enriching the lives of everyday individuals.
