THE OCULUS

The Structure “OCULUS” is a latin word which mean an eye . the structure was evolved after working on the design which had slits. The idea was to give a feeling of intersection of only two walls to keep the inner space free from harsh west and south sunlight. The wall were cut in such a way that it will hide the slab. It consists of one angular L shaped walls, and other is circular wall with certain openings between walls to let the warm air pass through and dissipate outside. The design has been influenced by the mind map of the personality I have selected and the journey through final project includes case studies, architectural drawing, render drawing and formwork design.
