Lean Simulation Game - Development and Testing a Mistake proofing Lean Simulation Game

Mistake proofing is "the use of any automatic devise or method that either makes it impossible for an error to occurs or makes the error immediately obvious once it has occurred". It has been popularly adopted in the manufacturing industry and slowly making inroads in construction industry. The Center for Construction Research and Training, USA and the University of California Berkely has conducted some initial work on application of this Mistake proofing concept in US construction industry. Although the concept looks more simplistic, the understanding of mistake proofing principles namely eliminate, prevent, replace, facilitate, detect and mitigate is important to adoption of this tool in design and construction of project.
