The research study integrates and manages various datasets, workflows, and information models using the BIM environment. The study aims to and successfully answers two main questions: First, whether it is possible to develop a framework that enables the automatic creation of Look-ahead Schedules with the help of BIM environment without the assistance of simulation software;  Second, whether expensive project planning software can be eliminated for visualizing the project progress. This research project is aimed at facilitating the automatic creation and updating of Look-ahead Schedules utilizing the datasets derived from the BIM model. Another critical objective of this study is to enable BIM to integrate elements of the project with their planned execution date to facilitate visualization of project progress by creating a plug-in inside the BIM environment.
