Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be used in road traffic management to analyze the real-time data from various means of transportation, including cars, buses and trains. AI can be used in traffic management to enforce the law. Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS) provides a tool to automatically challan offenders as per law of the land, with supporting evidence data in terms of snapshots & videos. Speed prediction is essential for a wide range of traffic control measures, such as proactive control. Moreover, the estimation of individual vehicle speed enables more accurate traffic optimization and thus, is vital in the design of proactive traffic control method. Most of the previous studies investigated the speed prediction relying on macroscopic traffic data since it is difficult to obtain real-time microscopic traffic data. This research detects and display real time speed of the vehicle with vehicular count. It aims to detect the over speeding vehicle by capturing vehicle images in the future. Exploring possibilities with AI will automate the data collection and processing with better accuracy followed by actions.
