This research has aimed to identify the causes of claims in building projects and study the claim management process from occurrence to mitigation. To achieve this goal, two case studies in which claims were raised in mass housing construction projects were studied to determine the reasons behind the claims. The study employed a literature review, case studies, and a questionnaire survey that was conducted to evaluate how contractors and consultants view the causes of the claim's occurrence, their magnitude, and frequency.
