Web based application for 3D Terrain analysis and visualization

3D mapping of terrain allows representation of a geographical region which provides more insights than its 2D counterparts. The project aims at developing a web based module for 3D terrain visualization and analysis using elevation datasets.  Such strategic implementation will be useful for schematic planning and execution thereby delineating a spatial decision support system.  The GIS and remote sensing capabilities will also be used for preliminary surveys viz., enabling Overlay analysis using spatial datasets, Line of sight analysis ,Viewshed analysis, and 2D and 3D measurements.
