Intersections are particularly unsafe when a number of conflicting acts involving diverse vehicle users and pedestrians take place at once. The studio's primary focus is on surveying, analysing, and recommending improvements for existing intersections in order to address any issues that may be problematic for the intersection's users.  The studio focuses on the intersection's physical qualities, such as speed analysis, pavement defect, Drainage Analysis, Traffic Volume Data etc. In this the existing problems of the Pirana Intersection include many fatal accidents, random movements of traffic, rash driving etc. Which all were improved by geometric changes, proper signal timings, etc.
