Development Plans are considered to be a basic framework for Development of Cities or Towns in India, which eventually helps Development Authorities to facilitate the Development. As majority of the cities prepare their Development Plan on an ad hock bases without doing major research on some of the basic criteria impacting/governing key proposals like Road Network, Zoning, Green and Blue/Environment, Infrastructure, Regulations/Guidelines etc. Here to support the process, a thorough investigation can be done through a case study of Ahmedabad and other effective/innovative ideas across the globe to make the Development Plan Proposals more efficient.
