KUMBHAR'S KUMBHARWADA

The project was to design Kumbharwada, Dharavi, Mumbai with keeping the culture intact and create more occupational opportunity.I have tried to recreate Kumbharwada keeping different heirarchies of space. Giving each unit its own open and semi - open space for private use.  And a well planned commercial edge on each side of Kumbharwada, keeping the well isolated but also have a good public interaction on the edges.
