Between the segment of houses priced at 16 lac to 45 lac, demand exceeds supply by a factor of two.There have been some changes made to the current framework for affordable housing policy to increase supply and encourage developers to construct in these underserved segments, as well as the introduction of inclusionary housing zone and rules in the city of Vadodara. A brief study of the Restricted Residential Zone's regulations has been done in particular, and certain revisions have been made in response to the projects' potential to be enabled inside the RRZ of Vadodara city.
