Ahmedabad is an urban study area, where we understood the city through different steps like on-site observation, stakeholder consultation, land use study, and transect study. Through different analyses, we identified the city’s strengths, challenges, and prospective opportunities for the coming year for the existing situation. Based on the study, our team created a thorough development plan with the goal of making Ahmedabad an environmentally sustainable and equitable city where all societal segments may coexist and benefit equally from the city’s infrastructure. Through this Developmemt plan studio we learnt Development plan does not limit to the land use or zoning, it involves a lot of more, how market and economy are interconnected and plays a crucial part in the city development through liberal and controlled approach.
