The Development Plan is an essential legal instrument to lay down any urban area in India. It is responsible for promoting, facilitating, and regulating the growth of cities. 
 The studio was intended to create a Development Plan for the Twin Cities ‘Bharuch and Ankleshwar’ in a team of three. This has enabled us to address the issues faced by an environmentally challenged urban area and an unliveable residential neighborhood. 
 Understanding a city’s spatial form and its effects on its growth, density, economy, affordability, and environment are critical while planning for such urban area. The process is planned in conjunction with the development regulations to require only required controls. 
 The Development Plan studio aimed to develop core competencies in making a development plan , taking advantage of some tools such as robust road network, zoning, and regulations. The plan also includes developing integrated land uses, public and freight transport, infrastructure proposals, and costing
