BHOPAL, the "city of lakes" located in the the heart of India is gifted with its unique ecological reserves and rich heritage values. While the city is known for this, it also witness developments and inflow of resources as the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. The spatial growth of the city is currently concentrated towards the southern end.In the 4 month Development Studio course, we envisioned Bhopal as a city built on inclusion through connectivity to facilitate equitable and sustainable development. The aim is to attain spatial compactness, social accessibility and diversifying economy.
