Assessing the Cooling Demand for Human Body due to physiological and Environmental changes in a Naturally Ventilated Space
• Convectional Building operations focus on the steady and consistent Indoor ambient conditions to provide thermal Comfort. To rationalize the energy use in the building operations, we need methods to adequately evaluate the human Thermal comfort under complex conditions as Indoor thermal environment is important for maintaining comfort and health.
• With the current scenario, and growing demand there is a need to reduce the energy consumption of the building and maintain balance between human thermal comfort and cooling energy demand.
• Humans have the ability to regulate their internal temperature to remain constant over various environmental Conditions. This study will elucidate the disparity in energy consumption between a Convectional HVAC system that conditions a built volume to a system that conditions a Personal Space of a human body.
