Stone to steel: Evolution of construction technology (Phase-3)
Construction field is constantly evolving based on the need of human beings and the advancement of technology. In the past, branches and animal hides were used to build dwellings while post-industrial revolution the emergence of new artificial materials like steel, glass, concrete, etc. brought a new construction process. However, the history of construction is a complex subject because it involves the history of construction technology, the history of construction materials, the history of engineering, there are limited resources or literature available that devotes directly to the complexity of the history of construction. So, through this research, we are trying to bring together the complexity of the history of construction from construction material, construction technology, and engineering perspective.
