This research explores the potential of automation and robotics technology (ART) to address challenges faced by the Indian construction industry, including labor shortages, quality control issues, and project delays. The study identifies barriers to the adoption of ART, such as low awareness, limited resources for small and medium-sized firms, high capital investment, and difficulty in using new technologies. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers, industry leaders, and other stakeholders to promote the adoption of ART in the Indian construction industry. The research underscores the need for increased awareness, skill development, and cost-effective solutions to overcome the barriers to the adoption of ART in the Indian construction industry
