CRONOCARE BY MEMORY

My approach to conservation is rooted in a deep respect for memory and care, treating buildings as living archives of time. I see each layer of a structure as a story to be honored, revealing its journey through thoughtful design. Rather than restoring a fixed past, I embrace aging and transformation, allowing interventions to become acts of care that extend the building’s life. By balancing removal with minimal additions, I let history and materiality breathe, fostering a dialogue between old and new. This dynamic approach preserves continuity, ensuring these spaces evolve meaningfully, bridging memory and future possibilities for enduring relevance.
