The Architecture of Memory

This project embraces the transformative power of time on built structures, guiding their evolution to extend relevance and longevity. Each building, seen as a living memory bank, embodies layers of history and adaptability. Interventions honor the resilience of spatial and material shifts, preserving traces of change while reimagining possibilities. Conservation prioritizes continuity over static preservation, fostering thoughtful contrasts—old and new, retained and reimagined. By designing for adaptation, we ensure these structures remain vibrant contributors to urban life. This approach cultivates openness, enabling spaces to evolve dynamically, bridging past and present to shape meaningful, enduring futures for the built environment.
