Subterranean Galleries : A Walking Experience

This museum lies in the Champaner-Pavagadh area, embedded between the Atak Gate and its fort wall. The intention being to connect the two pre-existing gates, curating a new walking experience replete with courtyards that are viewpoints into the museum. It is situated underground in order to preserve the view of the fort gate, as one walks up the slope. The roof of the museum, replacing the paved path, has stepped beams with dirt within in order to merge with the ground. It becomes sittable, with the end becoming a rooftop cafe, then extending down into the Earth as an amphitheatre.
