A new notion of design is unfolding, marked by interdisciplinary work methodologies exchanged among physicians, chemists, biologists, mathematicians, artists, and designers. This collaboration is giving rise to hybrid technologies, new materiality, and forms that were previously inconceivable and potentially alive. The studio aims to establish a symbiotic relationship between computer graphics, applied mathematics, material system and architecture. The objective is to adapt methods and technologies from various industries to introduce innovative approaches in architectural design. Specifically, the studio seeks to explore and adapt technologies that prioritize interaction between the designer and the system, facilitating a negotiation between ‘manual craft’ and solutions offered through technology.
