Fluid pathways harmonizing with the cliff’s natural contours and echoing the rhythms of the sea.The project is designed as a tranquil, immersive retreat nestled into the cliffs of Lofoten Island, offering visitors an intimate connection with nature, a sense of peaceful seclusion, and opportunities for social interaction and self-reflection. Through the use of wax that forms walls and surfaces that range from translucent to more solid which creates soft, diffused light and gentle acoustics, the structure aims to evoke calm and introspection. The program combines experiential exploration with spaces for informal gathering, relaxation, and learning about marine life.
