Sand Sanctuary

This project explores small-scale settlements for migratory people in desert regions, focusing on a contextual habitation strategy. It introduces a multi-agent robotic system, which is part of the herd, utilizing sand as a construction material. The bots optimize design and construction on-site by leveraging locally available resources, minimizing environmental impact and reducing carbon footprint. The system is temporary and regenerative, allowing materials to reintegrate with the environment after the building’s life cycle.
