Folds and Flows

This project explores the transformation of the Berlin Wall from a physical barrier to a lingering mental presence. It begins with layers of the wall that grow and evolve, symbolizing its expanding influence. The building emerges from the ground, its form unfolding with a dynamic roof that rises toward the sky. The grid size increases from 3 to 9 meters, and the roof transitions into light metal I-columns, blending with the wall's legacy. Skylights and cutouts bring light into the space, while the first floor connects four access points via a bridge, leading to different pathways.
