This studio focuses on pushing the boundaries of architectural design by integrating innovative methodologies and advanced tools. Through a series of interconnected exercises, we explore structural systems, material behavior, and spatial abstraction. Each project encourages the synthesis of creativity, functionality, and precision, fostering a deep understanding of design principles. From crafting triangulated bridge models with finger-jointed planar surfaces to experimenting with looping surfaces and 3D lattice cores, and ultimately incorporating these systems into the design of a high-rise, the studio emphasizes iterative processes and collaborative problem-solving.
