FLUTTER | BI DIRECTIONAL WAFFLE | KINETIC PILE

The MAT foundation studio began with the combination of parametric modelling and digital fabrication, where we explored software like Grasshopper, Rhino and also got used to fabrication technologies like laser cutting, 3D printing, CNC machining. Then we explored in detail about the kinetic mechanisms and applied those principles in the design for window of a high rise building. Finally, we explored in detail about the systems and applied it in the design of a high rise building. Throughout the course of this semester, we were involved in skill building exercise for digital and physical modelling along with exploration of systems.
