The MAT program explored the creative integration of structure, construction, and space, challenging traditional boundaries of architectural expression. The foundation studio focused on transforming technical construction details into cohesive architectural forms through hands-on experimentation. Students engaged with advanced digital fabrication techniques, kinetic façade systems, and large-scale spanning structures, gaining a profound understanding of material behavior, force dynamics, and spatial relationships. This iterative approach, driven by extensive prototyping and model-making, culminated in the conceptual design of a 200-meter-high skyscraper, seamlessly blending technical precision with architectural innovation.
