The MAT program delved into the creative integration of structure, construction, and space, pushing the boundaries of architectural expression. The foundation studio emphasized the transformation of technical construction details into cohesive architectural forms through hands-on exploration. By engaging with digital fabrication techniques, kinetic façade mechanisms, and large-scale spanning systems, students gained a deeper understanding of material behavior, force dynamics, and spatial interaction. This iterative process, supported by extensive prototyping and model-making, culminated in the conceptual design of a 200-meter-high skyscraper, blending technical precision with architectural innovation.
