ANANDGHAR is a vibrant Cultural Pride Centre for the Community of Jivraj Park: A cross-generational space where locals can come together to celebrate their heritage and foster their sense of unity. A space where the old can share their stories with the young to gap the disconnect of Indian tradition and globalised lifestyle, but also where the old can benefit from the lively young. A space to initiate conversations that encourage a harmonious co-existence of the old and the new, promoting empathy and understanding. As an outsider, I can only set a stage for this promotion of communal diversity and cultural pride - But I trust the colourful residents of Jivraj Park will know how to act out the play.
