 The craft of boat building in Mandvi is an economical practice of the city for different communities. This water edge with all geographical advantages provides the city a better hub for a ship manufacturing. In current scenario, the craft is seems to to be fading because of availability of materials and the time consumed to make a timber ship. Where affordance in architecture can provide an uplift to the craft of making which in result encourages the craft for the future.
