This 'Place for Fashion' is an experimental design project focused on creating sustainable, reusable workspaces for the fashion industry. It also attempts to solve multiple issues related to site and profession: emphasizing the critical yet often underappreciated role of fashion models, supporting small businesses in a city like Singapore where high-end fashion dominates, and fostering connections between land, water, and the built environment.
While employing these principles, form and aesthetic qualities found in the initial stages of the project, were highly influencial in the design process, maintaining a consistent visual language and narrative throughout the project.
