The anti-casino challenges the excess and isolation of traditional casinos, offering a space rooted in transparency and connection. Gaming zones, breweries, and smaller extensions are arranged to create a rhythm between activity and pause, fostering moments of reflection and interaction. Layered circulation and deliberate pause points soften the intensity of the experience, reimagining the casino as an open and approachable environment where play and sanctuary coexist.
The design emerges from a study of objects, transforming their forms into an architectural language. These objects, reassembled and scaled, shape the spatial composition, creating volumes that slot into one another like pieces of a puzzle. This process grounds the project in tactile familiarity while creating unexpected connections, inviting users to navigate and inhabit the space in new ways.
The anti-casino becomes a dynamic interplay of form and function, a rethinking of what a casino can be.
