What inspires you more—the brilliance of the sun or the mystery of darkness? For me, it’s both. Light reveals the essence of a space, but only when contrasted with darkness. Darkness, in turn, highlights the significance of light. Together, they play a pivotal role in shaping a space’s character. The interplay of light and shadow defines how a space is experienced and used. Without a thoughtful understanding of natural light, a design becomes nothing more than walls, columns, and slabs. Light is the driving force that breathes life and quality into a space.
