Enclosures of innovaton

Inspired by the genius of Leonardo da Vinci, this project, "Enclosures of Innovation: Interplay of Volumes in the Exhibition Design of Da Vinci Machines," reimagines spatial experiences through innovative enclosures. Grounded in the hypothesis that "enclosures through the interplay of volume create a sense of seclusion and focus," the design employs prospect-refuge theory to create a harmonious balance of openness and enclosure. The use of semi-transparent wire mesh enclosures mirrors Da Vinci’s inventive essence, fostering visual connections while guiding visitors through an immersive exploration. By framing the machines as focal points within dynamic spatial volumes, the design enhances both interaction and focus, echoing the ingenuity of the machines themselves.
