This project examines the impact of the strategic arrangement of design elements within an interior space on spatial flow. It explores how tectonic materiality, textures, and their deliberate configuration can guide movement through a space while avoiding sensations of confinement or monotony. Grounded in this hypothesis, the study is situated within an exhibition showcasing Leonardo da Vinci's dream machines. The project aims to articulate the multifaceted roles interior designers play in curating atmospheres that are meticulously tailored to enhance the presence and narrative of exhibited objects. It develops into a refined investigation of how the arrangement of design elements shapes the internal atmosphere of a space while simultaneously analyzing the intricate tectonic principles that underpin the creation of immersive environments. Through this detailed exploration, the project aspires to orchestrate a cohesive interplay of tectonic elements that unify functionality, aesthetics, and movement, ultimately crafting a dynamic and engaging spatial experience befitting Da Vinci's visionary creations.
