SPATIAL ECHOES: THE LIGHT BETWEEN LAYERS

The studio explores the hypothesis. “Layered lighting created by staggered surfaces affects the perceived spatial perception,” through the tectonic materiality of interior elements, framed by identities, standardization, and historical eras. In Role 1, it focuses on crafting visual compositions within historical sites, grounding the hypothesis in heritage. Role 2 investigates the designer’s impact on standardized locations, emphasizing adaptability. Role 3 culminates in site-independent visual creations, showcasing the hypothesis's versatility.
This progression provided a critical framework for understanding interior tectonics, enriching my perspective on material relationships and design strategies while bridging theoretical concepts with practical applications.
