Unrealised Narratives

The Museum of Da Vinci, housed within the unbuilt ideal church, transforms his unrealized visions into a unique experiential journey. Visitors navigate through enclosures of varying scales, each shaping their interaction with the exhibits. Openings—some requiring bending, others encouraging access or simple observation—enhance the sensory engagement, mirroring the curiosity and ingenuity Da Vinci championed. Through materiality, the enclosures offer translucent glimpses of what lies within, teasing the imagination and drawing people closer. This interplay of concealment and revelation embodies Da Vinci’s dream machines, creating a space where art, architecture, and innovation intertwine to celebrate his enduring legacy.
