The Academy of Performing Arts is designed as a collaborative space where Indian classical, Western classical, and contemporary art forms coexist and interact. Bringing together dance, music, and drama, the academy emphasizes cross-disciplinary learning through interactive performances, workshops, and collaborative projects. The design reflects this integration, with organically shaped studio spaces encouraging interaction among disciplines. These spaces feature screened walls that connect visually with the landscape, offering natural light and ventilation while maintaining openness. The canopy-like roof ties the spaces together, fostering a sense of unity. An 850-seat proscenium theater anchors the academy, supported by a semi-open public plaza that serves as a vibrant gathering space for students, performers, and visitors. The plaza connects seamlessly to the existing campus, promoting interaction and engagement while enhancing the cultural experience.
