The studio focused on crafting volumes through sections, which was achieved through a few exercises and a final design problem. The initial projects like designing a folly on CEPT campus, and reimagining an existing plan into our own sections, enabled us to create the experience we sought to create. For our final design, the Kailash temple at Aurangabad is redesigned into a museum with public spaces, galleries, amphitheatres, but with the Sanctum Sanctorum intact.
