University Consortium: Staff Housing

The ATIRA Campus is undergoing a revitalization to give rise to The University Consortium Park. To accommodate the stay needs of maintenance staff, B.V. Doshi's Guest House is repurposed as permanent staff housing. This project involves an analysis of the existing structure and programmatic requirements. The aim is to create comfortable and functional living spaces while preserving the building's architectural integrity thus, intervening minimally. The existing units are extended to house individuals seeking accommodation and new units are added as a response to the critique to house the staff's family along them. The existing courtyard binds the units together.
