The Alcove Chair

The Alcove chair caters to two distinct learning behaviours observed in school libraries : need of movement while seating & low-seating for prolonged reading sessions. The system consists of a enclosed seating shell, providing a sense of seclusion. The shell is attached to a low-leveled, rocking base. The option of making the chair static through levellers makes it more flexible to user.
